Twenty one hours.
Twenty hours.
Nineteen hours.
Eighteen hours.
Seventeen hours.
Sixteen hours.
Fifteen hours.
Fours hours!
Three hours!!!
Today was the day of my further maths trip up to Bristol Uni. We did work on Maclaurin's Theorem and complex numbers (if that went over your head, I'll happily explain it if you like. Really, it's good for me). It was brilliant! I spent most of the afternoon trying to solve the cube root of a complex number algebraically. I had so much fun!
There were a few hiccups, though. We got lost on the way there as the teacher driving the minibus doesn't know his way round Bristol. That wouldn't have been a problem (we had good instructions on how to get there) had we not let one of the lads navigate. *eyeroll* The next hiccup came when, during our lunch break, we decided to go out. I didn't need to go anywhere as I brought lunch but I didn't want to be left behind and wanted the walk. The lads and I set off down the hill into Bristol (did I mention I was one of the few girls on this trip?). Basically, we let the same guy navigate and wound up in completely the wrong bit of Bristol. *doubleeyeroll*
Anyway my little brother has Swine Flu! Poor thing. He's on a course of TamiFlu. Unfortunately he can't take pills. At all. Seriously. He has dispersable paracetamol and everything. So Mum made him eat wheatabix and gave him the pill that way. Don't ask me how she came to the conclusion that that's the way to go about things. Lol.
