It's nothing like a cold. It's like The Flu.
Basically, if you can get out of bed and walk around tomorrow morning, you're fine.
If you're by the loo vomiting up your breakfast, running a fever, and feeling like you're about to die, you're screwed.

We had a "swine flu scare" (-rolls eyes-) when we were in Stratford last week. It was ridiculous. Our roommate had a fever for one day, she was quarantined and the doctor came in in a flaming hazmat suit to take a swab.
Arses.

Well, I don't know whether this is too late, but I've got swine flu atm. So I hope I can help out!
Basically, I don't feel like eating, ache all over, sneeze and cough, feel very tired and feel genrally fluey (lol is that a word?). I don't have a high tempreture, which is a main symtonm.
I was checked over by the doctor, and he said they don't test it anymore, and will treat it as swine flu, if you show quite a few of the symtomns. I've been given a prescription, and have been having the prescribed drugs, and I'm on the mend. It's not that bad, it's not even as bad a real flu!
